Location: Arlington, Virginia

Our Arlington client is looking for a direct mail and fundraising account executive to join their team. The direct mail and fundraising account executive will report to the vice president and will serve as the primary contact for multiple clients and will oversee the day-to-day fundraising functions. The direct mail and fundraising account executive will direct all aspects of the client's fundraising program and will be the key contributor to success.

This position has the ability to be fully remote. Candidates must reside in the following states: DC, VA, MD, OR, NC, GA, TX, CA, SC, FL, PA, NH, NJ, NY, and CT 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop complex mail strategies for multi-million dollar budgets
  • Manage all aspects of a direct mail campaign
  • Supervise data management process
  • Maintain excellent client relations. Leads all client meetings and serves as effective client advocate
  • Execute complex statistical analysis utilizing testing reports, Mail Stats, “tier” list selections and segmentation and budget projections
  • Develop client analysis and reports (Annual Reports and Plans of Action)
  • Create client budget and ensure budget projections are met
  • Design & develop integrated direct marketing plans
  • Collaborate internally to plan & deploy campaigns
  • Mine client & prospect data to prepare campaign recommendations
  • Leverage database segmentation for enhanced campaign execution
  • Utilize campaign analysis analytics to inform strategic plans and recommendations
  • Manage the campaign development process- includes reviewing requirements, preparation and completion of design documentation using internal tools/systems and timely execution
  • Create strategic campaign overview, with recommendations for future programs

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in applicable areas 
  • 3-5 years of nonprofit direct marketing and fundraising
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, excellent writing skills and working knowledge and statistics 
  • Passion for working with nonprofits
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client accounts
  • Career path showing consistently increased levels of responsibility
