JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client in the DC area is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join their marketing team on a temporary basis. This role requires expertise in agile marketing environments, hands-on experience using HubSpot for demand generation, and a solid understanding of digital marketing campaigns, content creation, advertising, and web analytics. The successful candidate will effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align marketing strategies with business goals and manage partnerships with external branding and digital firms to ensure timely and high-quality production.

 

This position will require one day on-site. Candidates who are not local to the DC area will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute agile marketing strategies aligned with strategic goals and leadership direction
  • Use HubSpot to manage demand generation, lead nurturing, and marketing automation workflows
  • Coordinate with digital marketing agencies to deliver campaign assets and support organic initiatives across social media, email, print, and web
  • Gather and interpret business requirements from internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives
  • Oversee the execution of creative and branding initiatives, working with both internal teams and external vendors
  • Partner with marketing leadership and communications teams to identify priorities, communicate progress, and align messaging
  • Generate creative concepts and produce marketing content for various platforms. Utilize AI tools when appropriate and collaborate with agencies and internal teams
  • Lead marketing efforts for national events and conferences, coordinating signage, branding, and promotional content in collaboration with event teams
  • Elevate organizational initiatives, programs, and resources to attract new audiences and sponsors. Develop supporting materials for business development efforts

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in agile marketing environments
  • Advanced proficiency in HubSpot
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO/SEM, analytics, and advertising
  • Proven project management skills, especially in creative and branding projects
  • Experience in content repurposing for various channels and audiences
  • Background in lead generation and audience engagement strategies
  • Familiarity with CRMs, website CMS, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, AI marketing tools, social media moderation, and project management platforms like Asana or Smartsheet
  • Knowledge of complex or regulated industries
  • Background in agency or fast-paced environments, managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience supporting event marketing and national-scale campaigns
