We are building our pipeline of Marketing Communications professionals in the DMV area who are open to contract positions that will support future client needs. Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in content development, digital marketing, and campaign execution, and be eager to contribute to a variety of integrated marketing and communications initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing communications plans that support business objectives, campaigns, and events.
Create and edit content for multiple channels, including email, social media, websites, newsletters, press releases, and collateral.
Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into compelling communications.
Manage digital channels (website, intranet, social media) and ensure timely, accurate, and brand-aligned updates.
Coordinate logistics and promotion for marketing campaigns, webinars, and events.
Analyze marketing performance metrics and prepare reports to assess ROI and optimize future initiatives.
Collaborate with designers, agencies, and vendors to deliver high-quality materials on time and on brand.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and adherence to style guides across all communications.
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience in marketing communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences.
Experience managing social media, digital campaigns, and/or content management systems (CMS).
Familiarity with email marketing platforms, analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.), and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite a plus).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments and with external vendors.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
Experience with paid digital advertising (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta).
Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
