JOB DESCRIPTION

McKinley Marketing Partner's client is seeking a highly skilled HRIS implementation consultant who is proficient in Workday, UKG, or SAP SuccessFactors and can partner with their HR and IT teams. This consulting role is pivotal in selecting and facilitating the successful implementation and integration of their Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring seamless processes and enhanced functionality to support our business objectives.

This is a 6-month, 40-hour-per-week W2 contract. All McKinley roles offer a competitive benefits package. This position operates on a hybrid schedule; 3 days onsite to their Centreville, VA location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the vendor selection and evaluation process of HRIS systems with a focus on Workday, UKG, or SAP SuccessFactors
  • Engage with key stakeholders to document business needs, requirements, and gaps
  • Design and configure HRIS solutions in alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of current HR processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and propose solutions to streamline and enhance HR workflows and practices
  • Ensure alignment of new systems with industry best practices and organizational goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, IT, and other relevant departments
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and HR stakeholders
  • Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations throughout project stages
  • Configure HRIS modules based on collected requirements and business needs
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct system testing to ensure functionality and performance
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve any issues or defects during the testing phase

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS implementation and support, with a strong focus on Workday, UKG, or SAP SuccessFactors
  • Previous experience in a consulting role is highly desirable
  • Expertise in HRIS systems (Workday, UKG, or SAP SuccessFactors) including vendor selection, configuration, implementation, and user support
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR processes and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Proven experience managing large-scale HRIS projects
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
