JOB DESCRIPTION

The Event Marketing Coordinator will assist in executing marketing strategies designed to generate awareness, engagement, and ticket sales for a variety of events. Working closely with the Strategic Event Marketing Manager and Senior Manager, Flagship Events, the coordinator will support the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to ensure that events are promoted effectively and reach target audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and promotional strategies to drive ticket sales and event participation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, content, social media) to develop creative assets, including email campaigns, website banners, social media posts, and printed materials.
  • Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular updates and reports to the Strategic Event Marketing Manager.
  • Support the creation and management of content for marketing channels, including event websites, social media, and newsletters.
  • Write, proofread, and edit marketing materials for accuracy, tone, and branding consistency
  • Work closely with external vendors (e.g., designers, printers, influencers) to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Liaise with event partners and sponsors to align marketing efforts and optimize cross-promotion opportunities
  • Ensure that all marketing activities adhere to brand guidelines and event-specific messaging
  • Assist in executing paid and organic digital marketing campaigns, including social media ads, email marketing, SEO, and SEM strategies to drive ticket sales
  • Help manage ticketing platforms, including tracking sales, troubleshooting issues, and creating reports.
  • Track marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing platforms.
  • Generate post-event reports summarizing campaign performance, ticket sales, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities for future marketing efforts.
  • Ensure marketing materials are available and distributed at events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in event marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and marketing platforms such as MailChimp, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • A passion for events and marketing, with a detail-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities.
