JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events across various areas such as entertainment, wellness, and home improvement. The role includes managing the specific program inboxes and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing events, including managing budgets, contracts, and ticketing.
  • Manage email inboxes for member inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Moderate and host virtual events, typically in the evenings, handling audience chats and troubleshooting.
  • Create and manage event details in CVENT to support planning.
  • Coordinate multiple events or projects, ensuring smooth integration with overall department goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning or project management.
  • Proficiency with event management software (e.g., CVENT) and virtual platforms.
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work evenings for virtual events.
