Our HR nonprofit client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Marketing for a project opportunity (four months, potentially longer) to support the evolution and growth of the organization. You will help support the design, development, and distribution of multi-modality campaigns for individual and enterprise clients globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategy and execution plans that deliver on KPIs. The role reports to the Director of Marketing and will have extensive interaction with the VP.

This position will require regular on-site attendance once in-office operations resume.


  • Provide a vision and strategy for go-to-market plans as the organization implements a product strategy to meet a diverse set of market realities and customer needs
  • Partner with the business to position the organization
  • Analyzing the holistic product suite, delivery channels, modalities, and delivery schedule to set goals and success metrics
  • Establishing market research and audience analysis strategy to inform product development and future marketing strategy
  • Lead the marketing strategy and conceptualize multi-channel marketing plans that drive customer acquisition, enrollment, and retention
  • Develop and oversee effective lead generation and nurturing campaigns to expand our customer base and create qualified sales pipelines
  • Establish strategic direction for messaging, marketing content development, and the research and insights required to communicate our value proposition
  • Create, monitor, and provide reporting on annual marketing plans and budgets
  • Develop analytics to monitor performance, tracking progress against objectives, and identifying new areas of opportunity
  • Manage marketing staff, contractors, and collaborate with the cross-functional marketing support teams to execute strategies and plans


  • 7+ years of marketing experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and writing skills
  • Extensive digital marketing expertise
  • Possesses a clear marketing vision that will help move our business forward, with the ability to communicate, inspire, and collaborate
  • Proven track record in growing revenue in B2C and B2B contexts
  • Expertise with marketing automation systems and segmentation
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, write copy, edit websites, and send emails if needed
