McKinley Marketing Partners’ large, well-known non-profit in DC is seeking SEO Marketing Lead to join their Digital Marketing team for a long-term contract. The SEO Marketing Lead will serve as an internal advocate, educator, and subject matter expert for SEO who will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and communicating results and insights to share within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive qualified website traffic and improve the overall usability from search
  • Optimize programs to drive both desktop and mobile site traffic, conversion, and ROI
  • Ensure healthy year-over-year organic growth
  • Manage major search-related projects like template updates, URL pattern rewrites, HTML & XML sitemaps, app indexing, answer boxes, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a world-class SEO analytics reporting
  • Be responsible for SEO forecasting, centralized reports and dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis/exploration
  • Run rigorous tests and other experiments to optimize search metrics and conversions
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual search marketing plans while providing strategic opportunities based on historical results and organizational goals
  • Develop SEO strategy by making recommendations for site content and architecture, link building, keywords, or any factors that may impact SEO performance
  • Work with vendors to provide strategic direction
  • Highlight actionable priorities while working with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in applicable areas of study
  • 3+ years of SEO experience
  • Digital and multi-channel marketing experience
  • In-depth experience managing SEO adjustments across Google, Yahoo and Bing
  • Experience with Omniture or other website analytics tools
  • Proven ability to drive KPI's across platforms
  • Experience with crawling products
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
