  McKinley Marketing Partners large non-profit client in DC is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin for a long-term contract. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant will serve as the primary contact for Salesforce Marketing Cloud users providing ongoing user support and training. In addition, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant will identify areas of improvement and make actionable recommendations to increase operational efficiency as well as design/implement those solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.


  • Provide ongoing user support and training programs for the Salesforce application
  • Work with Salesforce, support vendors and internal technical staff to troubleshoot and apply new features, upgrades, and patches
  • Provide administrator functions such as user management, profile configuration, mobile configuration, data management, report, and dashboard development, etc.
  • Pull and push data to Salesforce
  • Identify areas of improvement and make actionable recommendations to increase operational efficiency and user adoption
  • Learn new technology to help create new processes and enhancements to Salesforce.com
  • Ensure data integrity within Salesforce.com as well as between Salesforce.com and internal systems
  • Document current processes and future enhancements
  • Manage new campaign and project development requirements and approvals, including priorities based on resource allocations


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-3 years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into specifications
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Ability to create and modify roles, profiles, sharing rules, user configurations, mobile configurations, page layouts, custom objects, reports and dashboards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel functions
  • Understanding of web based software, cloud platforms, and client/server technologies
  • Strong client service and project management skills and must have the ability to communicate with both business and technical individuals effectively
  • Must have ability to explain technologies in a non-technical manner
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, time management, and multi task with concentration, speed, and accuracy to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
