McKinley Marketing Partners’ large, well-known non-profit in DC is seeking a Paid Seach Marketing Lead (SEM) to join their Digital Marketing team for a long-term contract. The Paid Search Marketing Lead will serve as an internal advocate, educator and subject matter expert for SEM, who also will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and communicating results and insights to share within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize programs to drive both desktop and mobile site traffic, conversion, and ROI
  • Manage pay-per-click (PPC) to drive qualified website traffic
  • Track, report, and analyze results
  • Develop annual and short-term paid search marketing campaigns
  • Provide strategic direction based on historical campaign results and organizational goals while identifying new opportunities and potential risks based on market trends
  • Work with vendors as needed to provide direction and oversee deliverables
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop roadmaps for implementation and deliver insights on performance
  • Provide daily management of budget and campaigns on all major search engines
  • Optimize campaigns and bids by driving campaign and keyword discovery and expansion
  • Optimize copy and landing pages and improve quality scores
  • Develop testing roadmap

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in applicable areas of study
  • 1-2+ years of SEM experience
  • Digital and multi-channel marketing experience
  • Proven ability to drive KPI's across platforms
  • In-depth experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
  • Experience with bid management tools
  • Experience with Omniture or other website analytics tools
  • Experience with Adobe Media Optimizer (AMO) preferred
  • Experience with MarkMonitor or similar platform preferred
  • Experience with crawling products and A/B testing
  • Background that includes managing budgets
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
