McKinley Marketing Partners' Silver Spring nonprofit client is looking for a Marketing Program Specialist who will report directly to the Director of Constituent Relations.The Marketing Program Specialist also will handle a wide range of departmental project work and partnerships with the membership and constituent relations team to facilitate support as needed.


  • Develop and implement programs according to the policies, procedures and goals of the department and organization
  • Coordinate and manage electronic and face-to-face special events, occasions, and professional development offerings geared toward constituent and state association leaders
  • Assist in facilitating communication (internal and external) and coordinating objectives pertinent to support of constituent and state associations
  • Maintains effective and timely written and oral communications with staff and state leaders
  • Conducts analysis on the development or management of one or more segments of a project or program including development and analysis of qualitative and quantitative surveys designed to assess participation and satisfaction, as well as measurement of open and click through rates of projects
  • Monitor and track agreements, payment schedules, and other executional responsibilities for the membership personal benefits partners
  • Support the membership and constituent relations departments by performing a variety of administrative tasks, including setting up and executing meetings, conference calls and webinars, as well as coordinating travel arrangements and monthly expenses reconciliation


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or four years of experience in project management in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-4 years of project administration experience
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of the MS Office, as well as communications software, i.e. exposure to online community management software and, Real Magnet email software, web/teleconferencing systems, and accounting software
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • The ability to create, implement and modify processes
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex meetings and travel (domestic and international)
  • Ability to proofread and multitask in a face pace environment with changing priorities
