Are you a digital marketing campaign pro looking to take your skills to the next level? Our global management and technology client is seeking a Marketing Campaign Manager to join their team in Alexandria, VA.  The Marketing Campaign Manager will play a key role in the marketing team and will be directly responsible for planning, developing, and executing end-to-end marketing programs designed to meet regional sales targets. You will work cross-functionally with other Marketing Campaigns Managers globally, various members of the Global Marketing team, and North American sales teams, to share best practices and produce optimal results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling end-to-end marketing campaigns, aligned with sales, that drive interest in the client’s software and services; campaigns may include components across a variety of touch points, including in-person, digital, direct mail, or via partnerships
  • “Succeed swiftly” by iterating on various tactical tests, identifying what messages and activities resonate most with each target persona within the region; take learnings from these tests to build upon the success and further extend campaigns
  • Build marketing plans that support both the attraction of new business and engage renewed interest from existing clients
  • Translate corporate messaging and value propositions into in-market campaigns that meet the unique needs of regional personas; direct ownership of the regional content and related syndication plans
  • Partner with the sales organization throughout the process, positioning yourself as an extension of their team, and interact with them in a customer-centric fashion
  • Coordinate handoffs between the Global Marketing team and the regional campaign plans to ensure the client’s brand is correctly represented within the region
  • Engage hands-on our marketing automation platform, Hubspot, and our CRM, Salesforce.com, as required in support of executing campaigns; work jointly with marketing operations and sales operations as appropriate to launch all campaigns
  • Own the MQL/lead numbers delivered to the business, as well as conversion rates through all channels; the scorecard has been developed already and it will be yours to own and work cross-functionally with team members to deliver the results and report to key stakeholders
  • Represent the client at prospect events across the region (as needed; limited travel expected), showcasing your knowledge of our products and services
  • Build relationships with regional industry influencers and media contacts with an eye to adding momentum and bringing efficiency to campaigns

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other applicable areas of study
  • 5+ years managing marketing activities in high-growth, multi-product line B2B technology businesses whose products span both software and services
  • Experience with marketing and salesforce automation tools, Hubspot, and Salesforce.com preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on developing in-market messages and final copy for emails, ad campaigns, etc. (both originating new content and copyediting others)
  • Experience managing the full spectrum of marketing activities (event management, digital marketing, email marketing, webinars, 3rd party activities and advertising, and sales enablement)
  • Proven ability engaging target audiences in a creative manner that produces the highest possible results for the dollars invested
  • Must be an energetic self-starter who works well independently and in a team setting; experience working directly with sales teams is an asset
  • Knowledge of intellectual property (patents and/or trademarks) and law firm personas is an asset
