Are you a marketing professional with strong experience in managing digital campaigns and utilizing different marketing channels? Are you able to juggle multiple priorities with a “can do” attitude in a fast-paced, yet collaborative environment? McKinley Marketing Partners’ large nonprofit client in the DC area is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who can take projects from concept to implementation and has a proven history of delivering successful campaigns across multiple channels.

 

Position Overview

  • Develop and implement marketing plans that will contribute to successful and profitable launches, including acquisition campaigns to grow pageviews, visits, and memberships
  • Manage both paid and non-paid online campaigns and various channels including email, display, paid search, sweepstakes, social and new media
  • Determine return on investment for marketing programs to optimize campaigns and make recommendations to increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Optimize for traffic and engagement using a/b testing and work with Test & Target and Audience Engagement teams
  • Develop creative and project briefs and coordinate messaging and content in campaigns with internal stakeholders and external agencies/vendors
  • Work with constituents to implement campaigns and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders including legal
  • Manage campaign-level budgets ensuring the most efficient use of funds to meet goals
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Work with product management to improve conversion processes and other on-site improvements to facilitate acquisition campaigns for memberships and site registrants

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience in online marketing with emphasis on direct response campaigns in an advertising agency or corporate marketing department
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively is a must
  • Understanding of common digital marketing strategies
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced, fluid environment while ensuring deliverables are met within assigned deadlines
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience using reporting applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
